When to install, and when the plan starts
Install before you fly, at home on Wi-Fi. Your plan's days start when the phone first connects at your destination.
Installing needs an internet connection, so do it at home on Wi-Fi before you leave.
Unless the plan says otherwise, its days start when the phone first connects to a network in the plan's coverage area, not when you install.
Once installed, the eSIM can't be refunded, so install when you're sure you're travelling.
