Turn on data roaming for the eSIM
When you land, switch on data roaming for the eSIM, not your usual SIM, and pick the eSIM for mobile data.
- iPhone: Settings > Mobile Data > choose the eSIM > turn on Data Roaming, and set the eSIM as your mobile data line.
- Android: open the eSIM's SIM settings, turn on Roaming, and pick the eSIM for mobile data.
- Turn off mobile data on your usual SIM so your home network doesn't charge you.
The first connection after you land can take up to 10 minutes.
